How to Ting? (ฮาวทูทิ้ง) is a mobile application that uses the power of AI and machine learning for waste separation. The core engine of this application is TensorFlow Lite, which allows for object detection through the camera on our smartphones.
My position in this project is to design the UX/UI, create prototypes, and develop the application using Flutter language via Flutter Flow. My co-partner is responsible for machine learning using Teachable Machine.
Here is an overview of the application. The user can choose the type of trash or bin they have at home, use the camera to scan the items, and the application will then suggest how to dispose of them correctly.
This project was developed as part of the computer and innovation project for educational subject (2765416) and was entered into the first round of the 2021 National Software Contest (NSC Thailand).
