The Pheu Thai Original Documentary is a strategic content that takes the audience through the history of Pheu Thai Party and its candidates. My responsibility is to design the documentary poster and create typographic animations for it.
The Candidate Paetongtarn
This documentary will take us through the life of Paetongtarn Shinawatra, one of three prime ministerial candidates selected by the Pheu Thai Party. She is the youngest daughter of the Shinawatra family, and the documentary will present perspectives on her political views and career.
For her branding in the 2023 Thailand Election, she chose to use the letter 'N' in a design that resembles the Thai character 'ท' which was used in the legacy design of the Thai Rak Thai Party. I replaced the 'N' with her stunning silhouette picture (taken by Natthapol Suebkraphan), and retouched the lighting to make the text more legible.
A tragic minute - นาทีวิปโยค
The floods in Thailand in 2011 were a great loss for the country. The event occurred during the beginning of Yingluck Shinawatra's government and became a major challenge for her administration. This document will took us to explore varies viewpoint including the interview of Yingluck Shinawatra, former Prime Minister of Thailand.
The inspiration for this poster came from the waves on water surfaces, which I incorporated into the title to create an authentic typeface. The typeface also relates to the typographic animation inside the documentary, which gives the impression that the letters are drowning.
